1. Class Prep
The Fall Session runs from August 24th to December 14th as a 17-week program. Students may participate in a flexible once-per-week session or host multiple of those classes.
2. Tailored Learning
We hope to achieve mastery within the class before moving onto another topic, so they don't have gaps in their learning.
3. Matched SFUSD holidays
We follow the SFUSD calendar, so holidays and breaks will align with SFUSD students. Here are our observed holidays:
September 1st: Labor Day
October 13th: Indigenous people’s day
November 11th: Veteran’s Day
November 24-28th: Thanksgiving break
In this early stage of math, we strive to build a soild foundation for your child. Our curriculum, which consists of addition, division, fractions, decimals, and more will result in a strong arithmetic foundation for future math.
In elementary English, we focus on grammar, such as sentence structures and tenses. We also teach vocabulary and reading comprehension to prepare your child for more complex texts.
As their exploration of math continues, we solidify their understanding of interpreting graphs and data, include elements of geometry, and move on to the fundamentals of algebra.
We reinforce the core concepts of English, such as grammar and reading comprehension. We also teach students to read and write narratives, arguementitive essays, and more.
We focus only on Algebra 1 topics, from linear eqautions to quardratics. We also include the manipulation of variables and various word problems.

We ask your child to not miss more than three sessions, as that will negatively affect your child's learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended. Message their tutor if they have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If they have three unexcused absences, we may remove your child from their session.
